The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the results of the Air Force Common Ability Test or AFCAT 02/2024. Candidates who have taken the exam can check their results on the official website at afcat.cdac.in. The AFCAT 2 2024 exam was held from August 9th to 11th, 2024. To access the AFCAT results, candidates must log in using their email ID and password.

Those who pass the AFCAT 2 exam will be invited for an interview with the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB). The final list of qualified candidates will be determined based on their scores in the AFCAT 2 exam and their performance in the AFSB interview.

AFCAT Result 2024: Steps to Download

Step 1: Navigate to the official website of AFCAT 2024 – afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/

Step 2: Then you will find a link to download the result. On the homepage, click on the link “AFCAT 02/2024 RESULTS HAVE BEEN DECLARED AND ARE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING VIA INDIVIDUAL LOGIN”.

Step 3: Log in and check the grades received.

Step 4: Print out your sheet music.

The AFCAT (2) 2024 exam aims to fill Group-A Gazetted Officer positions in both air and ground services, including technical and non-technical branches. Those selected will be admitted to courses from July 2024, leading to the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the flying and ground service branches (technical and non-technical). There is also a special entry opportunity through the NCC Special Entry Scheme for the Flying Branch.

The exam mode is online and the duration is 2 hours for AFCAT and another 45 minutes for Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) for technical candidates. There are total 100 MCQ questions for AFCAT and 50 for EKT. Candidates receive three points for each correct answer and one point is deducted for each incorrect answer. Candidates who have cleared the AFCAT online exam will be invited for an interview with the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB).
