43-foot-tall naked Trump puppet debuts in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is home to many things that might raise eyebrows, but a new art installation depicting Donald Trump as a naked, 40-foot-tall puppet might raise your eyebrows.

The gigantic naked Trump is made of foam over rebar and weighs about 6,000 pounds. He will tour the United States as part of the Crooked and Obscene Tour. First, however, you can see him in person and in the wild at 13460 Apex Harbor Ln in Las Vegas right now.

According to tour organizers, Trump’s nude depiction is “intentional and serves as a bold statement about transparency, vulnerability and the public role of political figures.”

They also aim to spark conversations about “transparency – or lack thereof – in politics” and encourage viewers to think critically about political influence, press materials say.

Those who can’t make it to Las Vegas will have the opportunity to see it at tour stops elsewhere in the United States. Dates and cities for the tour have not yet been announced. We’ll keep you updated.

This isn’t the first time a naked statute from Trump has appeared publicly, although it certainly puts its predecessor to shame. In 2016, Joshua “Ginger” Monroe was hired by the art collective INDECLINE to create five life-size nude statues of the former president as part of a project titled “The Emperor Has No Balls.”

The statues were erected without permission at locations in Seattle, New York City, Cleveland, Los Angeles and San Francisco; Of course, they were soon removed by the police.
