Ohio State defeated Michigan State 38-7 to open conference play on Saturday. The Buckeyes were in control from the start, forcing three turnovers and holding the Spartans to just 47 yards rushing on the day.

True freshman receiver Jeremiah Smith continues to impress as he had five catches for 83 yards and a touchdown while also producing a score on the ground. He now has five touchdowns on the year, which is just three shy of the school record by a freshman.

The Buckeyes rank in the top five in the country in both offense and defense.

As for Iowa, the Hawkeyes are off to a 3-1 start to the season. They also opened Big Ten play with a win and a loss Minnesota with a record of 31-14 in Week 4 before receiving a bye last week.

Iowa has been known in recent seasons for having a top-notch defense and a subpar offense. However, they have scored at least 30 points in three of their four games so far this season.

However, the Hawkeyes will face perhaps their biggest challenge of the season against Ohio State. Run back Caleb Johnson has rushed for at least 100 yards and two touchdowns in every game so far this season and will look to keep that streak going against the Buckeyes.
