Devara Box Office Day 2: Jr NTR’s film crosses Rs 200 Crore mark worldwide

Jr NTR’s Devara Part 1, which garnered record-breaking ratings at the box office, has crossed Rs 100 crore mark in India. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles.

Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film has been well received by the audience, largely thanks to Jr. NTR’s huge fan following, which has made him a crowd-favorite entertainer. According to Sacnilk it is The film opened with good success at the box officewhich grossed over Rs 140 crore worldwide on its opening day. On the second day, the film grossed Rs 38.2 crore in India, taking the total to Rs 120.7 crore.

The pan-Indian film was released on Friday in five languages: Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

On Saturday, the film recorded an overall occupancy of 60.23 percent in the Telugu market, while it clocked 18.15 percent in the Hindi sector, 28.02 percent in Kannada, 24.89 percent in Tamil and 15.95 percent in Malayalam.

Worldwide, the film managed to enter the Rs 200 crore club within two days and earned Rs 243 crore.

Devara Part 1 marks Jr NTR’s first solo release in six years since 2018’s Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. He was last seen in SS Rajamouli’s RRR opposite Ram Charan in 2022.
