2024 Fantasy Football Rankings, Sleepers, Cheat Sheets, Streamers for Week 4 in PPR, Standard Leagues

The New Orleans Saints suffered their first loss of the season last week, losing 15-12 to the Philadelphia Eagles. Quarterback Derek Carr threw for just 142 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the loss, but where will he land in the Week 4 fantasy football rankings? Carr and the Saints take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, a defense he torched for 264 yards and four touchdowns in his last meeting with Atlanta.

Saints running back Alvin Kamara is a given to add to your Week 4 fantasy football roster, but you should list a player like wide receiver Rashid Shaheed, who didn’t record a single catch in last week’s loss could after he finished with at least 70 receiving yards and a touchdown in the first two weeks? Before you decide on your fantasy football lineups, be sure to check out the Advanced Computer Model Week 4 fantasy football rankings at SportsLine.

When it comes to ranking players, SportsLine’s model has outperformed human experts in fantasy football in recent seasons, especially when there have been wide differences in rankings. Over the course of a season, this can literally be the difference between winning the league and going home empty-handed.

The same model has a proven track record of providing fantasy football picks, including being one step ahead of players like AJ Brown, Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, Christian McCaffrey, Alvin Kamara, and Jahmyr Gibbs. Anyone who relied on such players could secure the championship title.

Now the model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, has released its fantasy football rankings for Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season. Head over to SportsLine now to see them.

The best fantasy football picks of Week 4

A surprise in Week 4: The model is fading Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams, who was used in 81% of CBS Sports PPR leagues last week after enjoying a breakout first two weeks of the season. Williams had 10 catches for 200 yards and a touchdown in the first two weeks and also ran for 28 yards, but he had a bust week in Week 3 against the Cardinals.

Williams played a season-low 71% of snaps and was targeted just three times, catching one pass for nine yards. He also had one carry where he lost seven yards and had two scrimmage yards on two touches. Now he faces a Seahawks defense that has allowed just 397 passing yards through the first three weeks (best in the league), and the model ranks him outside the top 40 wide receivers in Week 4.

Another curiosity: The model is really into Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard. Carolina’s offense looked more explosive with veteran Andy Dalton under center. The Panthers scored 36 points in last week’s win and Hubbard was effective when he touched the ball. In last Sunday’s win over the Raiders, Hubbard rushed the ball 21 times for 114 yards. He also added five receptions on five targets for 55 yards and a touchdown. Only six of his 21 carries went less than four yards, and he also had a long reception of 20 yards.

With Jonathon Brooks (knee) out at least one more game, Hubbard should have plenty of room again in Week 4 against Cincinnati. The model ranked Hubbard as a top-20 running back this week, making him a rock-solid RB2. How to set the fantasy football rankings for Week 4

The model also calls for a surprise quarterback who is in less than half of CBS Sports’ PPR leagues to finish in the top 10 of its Week 4 fantasy football rankings. This choice could be the difference between winning big and going home empty-handed. View the model’s entire Week 4 fantasy football rankings for PPR and standard leagues here.
