“Ranveer Allahbadia’s YouTube channels back after cyber attack”. What he said

Ranveer Allahbadia started his content creation journey at the age of 22.

The YouTube channels of influencer podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, have been reinstated days after being hacked and renamed. After the accounts were restored, Ranveer informed his followers about it. In the video update, he said: “Hey guys. I would like to inform you that our channels have been restored. Thank you to the YouTube Global and YouTube India team. I’m very grateful to them, very grateful to all of you. Thank you for supporting us during this difficult time.”

The hack, which occurred around 11:30 p.m. on September 25, resulted in the deletion of all videos from the channels before they were renamed to “@Elon.trump.tesla_live2024” and “@Tesla.event.trump_2024”, with content, The focus was on Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, and US presidential candidate Donald Trump. Initially, YouTube disabled both channels and redirected visitors to the “404 not found” page with the message “This page is unavailable.” I’m sorry. Try looking for something else.”

Ranveer added that the situation made him think about his future on the platform. “There was a moment when I felt like I needed to finally transition to being a full-time entrepreneur. No more YouTube. But God has other plans,” he said.

Ranveer also used the opportunity to raise awareness about cybercrimes. He urged his followers to make cybersecurity a priority, saying, “I hope this is a reminder to all of you to focus a lot more on your cybersecurity needs.” We took it very seriously, and then this happened. Cybersecurity is a very serious topic. It is the need of the hour. Educate yourself on this topic.”

Ranveer addressed speculations that the hacking incident was a publicity stunt and dismissed the claims. “I also want to tell you that this is not a marketing or PR stunt. My work is my dharma. That is my belief. I wouldn’t change the image of my work in that way,” he said.
