Luxury glass dome resort opens in southern Utah near Bryce Canyon

Phoenix (AZFamily)– The first luxury glass dome glamping experience is now open in Utah, just over the Arizona border.

Clear Sky Resorts offers guests a unique opportunity to see the stars just 15 minutes from Bryce Canyon.

Hal Feinberg founded Clear Sky Resorts to create a unique travel experience. A few years ago, he opened a similar dome resort in Williams for Grand Canyon travelers.

“When we discovered the geo-domes, we kind of knew that this was going to be a vehicle that would turn heads and amaze people as they walked in,” Feinberg said.

However, since these domes are only partially made of glass, Feinberg wanted to take the glamping experience to the next level.

“We can make this even more special. Seeing stars is better with glass domes. With the glass, you can even see shooting stars from your bed at the Bryce Canyon site,” he said.

The new resort features 25 glass domes, but plans to expand to 62 at some point. Feinberg said it’s a convenient way to connect with nature.

“We can help someone escape reality for a few days and see stars they will never see in a big city or even a small town,” he said. “It just changes people.”

Feinberg said it’s not hard to create a breathtaking experience when they’re close to national parks in the beautiful Southwest.

“Northern Arizona is very special, as is southern Utah. I would say they are the most beautiful areas in the country,” Feinberg said. “If you’ve never been to Bryce Canyon or the Grand Canyon, you can’t describe these views.”

Different sizes and models of domes offer space for 2 to 8 people.

Both the resort near the Grand Canyon and in Utah offer a variety of activities, from nighttime smells to hiking. Both are close to national parks.
