2024 College Football Schedule: Hurricane Helene Updates, Changes

Hurricane Helene made landfall in northwest Florida late Thursday evening as a Category 4 storm. Due to the storm’s impact, several games on the Week 5 college football TV schedule were affected.

Below are the FBS and FCS college football games that have had their dates, kickoff times and/or locations changed or been canceled due to Hurricane Helene. New information will be released as soon as it is announced.

Freedom in the Appalachian State

The Liberty Flames at Appalachian State Mountaineers football game in Boone, North Carolina on Saturday, September 28th has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Mercer at Wofford

The Mercer Bears football game at Wofford Terriers in Spartanburg, SC will take place on Saturday, September 28th, but the kickoff time has been pushed back 1.5 hours to 3:00 p.m. ET.

Samford at Furman

The Samford Bulldogs at Furman Paladins football game in Greenville, SC on Saturday, September 28th has been postponed. Further details about the rescheduled date will be announced at a later date.

Davidson at Presbyterian

Due to Hurricane Helene, the Davidson at Presbyterian football game on Saturday, September 28th in Clinton, SC has been relocated to Davidson College Stadium in Davidson, North Carolina. The game will now be played on Sunday, September 29th at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Tennessee Tech at Gardner-Webb

The Tennessee Tech at Gardner-Webb football game on Saturday, September 28th has been moved up two hours and now begins at 2:00 p.m. ET (ESPN+).
