ORCHARD PARK – For the first time since becoming the lead NFL analyst for FOX, former Buffalo Bills nemesis Tom Brady will be in discussion for their game in Seattle against the Seahawks on Sunday.

Obviously, this will likely be a tough one for Bills fans, as they will never forget the torture Brady inflicted on Buffalo during his career, winning 33 of 36 starts against the Bills, 35 of them with the New England Patriots and one with the New England Patriots at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he threw for 9,032 yards and 72 touchdowns.

The silver lining is that Brady can say whatever he wants about the Bills, but he can’t do any damage from the broadcast booth or influence the outcome of the game. Instead, this will be due to a strong Seahawks passing game orchestrated by Geno Smith, a player who is enjoying a career renaissance at age 34.

Smith already has three games with at least 300 passing yards this season, and a fourth Sunday would tie him with Matt Hasselbeck for the most passing yards in a single season in Seahawks history. He leads the league with 1,985 passing yards and Bills coach Sean McDermott knows his defense will be tested.

“It’s funny because he was around the league like me and we just didn’t face each other much,” McDermott said. “But the great respect for his game and the way he has developed over the years and the resilience he has shown is very impressive. “Having been out there for the last few years, we still have “Didn’t play against them, but were very impressed with his level of play, the way he commands their offense, and they do what I would describe as a high-level offense.”

Not to be outdone, of course, is a Buffalo passing game led by Josh Allen, who has been outstanding the last two weeks and now has another week of practice working with new wide receiver Amari Cooper.
