Signature Chefs come together to raise money for March of Dimes

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The March of Dimes will host its largest fundraiser of the year on Thursday evening.

Signature Chefs: Feeding Motherhood brings together the best chefs from across the Hub City who donate their time to prepare tasty treats while guests bid on auction items and learn more about the nonprofit organization.

All proceeds stay local and benefit mothers and babies in our area, including by providing comfort food to NICU families over the holidays.

“You know what you’re helping,” Mandy Pettit said. “You have meals that matter. They bring groceries over the holidays to families who are delivering babies in the NICU to give them a little comfort and to know that someone is there.”

“When I had preeclampsia, I didn’t really know much about it, so the education they provide and the preventive care they want mothers to have access to is very important to me,” Jacky said Nghiem.

Signature Chefs will be at Buddy Holly Hall on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
