First alarm forecast:

First alarm forecast:

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Temperatures will eventually cool to the lower and middle 50s overnight.

High temperatures could be a bit warmer Thursday, rising into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. Record highs could be at risk in some places given how warm it will be there. Otherwise it will be another quiet day.

Our weather will remain warm and dry through the end of the week and into the start of the new weekend. By Sunday we expect a front to enter the region from the north. This is expected to result in a slight decrease in temperatures Sunday afternoon with highs in the lower 80s. There is also a chance of isolated showers ahead of the front, but the likelihood is low and most areas will remain dry. Models suggest there could be another chance of rain from another front just before Halloween. There are still many uncertainties during this time. So check back for more details.
