Wednesday evening forecast from First To Know

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) – It’s getting difficult to describe the same weather pattern in different ways. It is still very dry and the north wind is blowing stronger today, even the patchy clouds are not quite as widespread as the day before. Weather conditions in the evening will be ideal, with temperatures starting in the 80s and falling into the 70s and 60s before midnight. There won’t be much wind as a high pressure zone approaches the region tonight. This setup may accelerate cooling overnight, with morning lows expected to be mostly in the 50s.

Another warm day is in store for Thursday as readings climb into the 80s early afternoon and are on their way to the mid and upper 80s. Record highs for Tallahassee are 90° over the next few afternoons, and most of us won’t reach that level.

Hardly any changes are expected by the weekend; Sunshine with some clouds at the peak of warmth and no rain. Highs will continue to be above average in the mid to upper 80s.

A wind shift from the east into next week will provide additional moisture supporting a few more clouds and increasing the chance of isolated showers, particularly in the I-75 area.
