Bears vs. Commanders injury report: Latest updates, news for Wednesday

The Chicago Bears (4-2) released their first injury report ahead of Sunday’s Week 8 game against the Washington Commanders (5-2), which included some notable updates.

Safety Jaquan Brisker and cornerback Kyler Gordon were the only players who did not practice Wednesday as they nurse their respective injuries. Brisker continues to deal with a concussion (after missing Week 6) and Gordon is recovering from a hamstring injury sustained in the Week 6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Offensive tackle Larry Borom (ankle) and running back Travis Homer (finger) had their 21-day window open as they are scheduled to return from injured reserve. On Wednesday, both participants were limited. Cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, who suffered a calf injury during practice in London, returned to practice on a limited basis. Elsewhere, defensive tackle Zacch Pickens (groin) and cornerback Terell Smith (hip) practiced for the first time in weeks as they recover from injuries.
