The Santa Barbara County Office of Education offers free bilingual computer classes for rural residents

GUADALUPE, Calif. – Partners in Education began offering a free bilingual basic computer course for rural residents this month.

The six-week basic computer training in English and Spanish is part of a series of courses offered throughout Santa Barbara County to help residents.

Courses are structured to help job seekers, current employees and small business owners improve their skills.

The program is designed to help people become more comfortable using computers and help themselves and their children with school work.

The program started in Guadalupe and continues in Lompoc and Cuyama.
