Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 – UK release time and download size

The Black Ops 6 beta in September was very promising, introducing new maps, game modes, and the new omni-movement system that lets you run and dive in any direction.

It was in stark contrast to its disappointing predecessor Modern Warfare 3 and will be the first Call Of Duty entry since Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard.

With Black Ops 6’s release just days away, it’s time to get ready, with information on where you can play it, when it’s releasing in the UK and a trick to playing it early.

Black Ops 6 UK release date

Activision’s Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 is released Friday, October 25th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.

Black Ops 6 will officially release on PC via Steam and Battle.net on October 25th at 5am EST. If you want to play it on Xbox, Game Pass or PlayStation, you’ll have to wait a little longer, as Black Ops 6 is scheduled to be released in Europe between October 24th, 12 p.m. and October 25th, 7 a.m.

How to play Black Ops 6 early

Despite releasing at the same time worldwide, Black Ops 6 will release at different times of day in different countries due to time zones, which in turn is a ploy to get early access in the UK.

Is Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Game Pass?

Yes, Black Ops 6 will be available for free on day one to anyone with a Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription. However, it will not be available via Game Pass Standard.

Future Call Of Duty titles are also expected to be available on Game Pass, as Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer said earlier this year:

“Our goal is ZeniMax’s entire gaming portfolio [parent company of Bethesda]Activision Blizzard and XGS [Xbox Game Studios] will be included in Game Pass from day one.’

Black Ops 6 is also coming to Xbox cloud gaming on day one via Game Pass Ultimate, the only membership option with access to console and PC titles as well as cloud gaming.

What’s included in Black Ops 6 Vault Edition?

There are two pre-order options: the Standard Edition and the Vault Edition, which cost £69.99 and £99.99 respectively.

The Vault Edition includes the base game as well as additional benefits such as:

• Hunters vs. Hunted Operator Pack (Eagle, Park, Brutus and Klaus skins).
• Mastercraft collection of five weapons.
• BlackCell (1 Season), which includes a Battle Pass, 20 Tier Skips and 1,100 CP.
• 12 GobbleGum for zombies, of high rarity.

How many GB is Black Ops 6 and the preload times

If you pre-ordered it, you can start preloading Black Ops 6 right away, which is a good idea if you want to play it right away.

It’s not entirely clear how much storage space is required on consoles, but someone who already has the game pre-installed on Xbox states on Reddit that you can download Black Ops 6 in batches, choosing what you want.

According to the post, Black Ops 6 multiplayer and Call Of Duty Headquarters require 66GB, while the campaign and Warzone require around 50GB each. However, this could change as Activision may add new patches ahead of launch.
