Video shows an Israeli missile turning a residential building into dust in Beirut


Beirut, Lebanon:

Video of an Israeli missile hitting a residential building in Beirut, Lebanon on Tuesday is going viral on various social media platforms amid ongoing clashes between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Accordingly The New York Post, The multi-story building was reportedly located in the Tayouneh neighborhood, next to Horsh Beirut City Park. Viral video of the incident showed that the impact of the missile attack was so catastrophic that the entire structure instantly collapsed within a few seconds.

About 40 minutes before that rocket attack, an Israeli military spokesman had published a social media post in Arabic warning residents in and around two buildings in Beirut’s southern suburbs to leave the area.

The incident sparked widespread outrage around the world. Local authorities and emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene to assess the damage and provide assistance to those affected.

Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement said on Tuesday there would be no negotiations while fighting with Israel continued and it claimed sole responsibility for a drone attack on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s holiday home.

The group “assumes full and sole responsibility” for the attack on Netanyahu’s home, Mohammad Afif, head of the Iranian-backed operator group’s media office, said at a news conference in Beirut’s southern suburbs.

“If our hands did not reach you last time, then there are still days, nights and the battlefield between us,” he said.
