Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry’s Breakup: What Went Wrong (Excl.)

More details are coming to light regarding Zach Bryan And Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia‘s unexpected breakup.

“[Brianna] “I was surprised that Zach was using dating apps and dating while they were in a committed relationship,” a source exclusively says Us weekly. “Someone sent her Zach’s Raya profile and the girls pointed out that he was nearby.”

According to the insider, the conversation between Bryan, 28, and LaPaglia, 25, “didn’t go well,” which left the Barstool Sports podcaster “deeply upset.”

“They had just moved in together in the spring and she was changing her whole life to fit in with his,” the source says. “She is devastated. He denied all allegations but still agreed that they should separate.”

Bryan and LaPaglia first came together at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards. The couple made their romance public in July 2023 and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Grammys in February.

Earlier this month, LaPaglia raised eyebrows after she warned others against dating someone famous on an episode of the Talk Tuah podcast.

“Don’t date famous people,” she said during her Tuesday, Oct. 21, appearance. “I think it’s better for them [mind] don’t date someone famous. It’s a lot.”

That same day, Bryan confirmed that he and LaPaglia had broken up.

“Brianna and I have separated and I respect and love her from the bottom of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and I will always thank her for that,” the country singer wrote on his Instagram Story. “I’ve had an incredibly tough year personally and have had to go through some pretty bad things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us if we took different paths. I’m not perfect and never will be.”

Shortly after news of their split broke, LaPaglia released a statement of her own.

“Hey guys, I’m feeling really caught off guard at the moment. I’m going to stay off social media for a while and try to heal privately. When I’m ready, I’ll be back and ready to talk,” she wrote via Instagram on Tuesday. “I love you guys so much, thank you for all your kind words. Remember that you are so loved and that everything will always be okay.”

Later that day, LaPaglia posted an emotional YouTube video in which she discussed her heartbreak.

“I cried for about five days,” LaPaglia said as her eyes filled with tears. “I’m at the point where I ask myself: How can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally through things you shouldn’t do?”

LaPaglia said that while she knew she would “get better” with time, she wanted to “heal privately” first before the exes went public with the news.

“I’m obviously very, very hurt right now,” she added.
