Xbox boss praises Blade Game’s progress while MCU film struggles

Arkane’s anniversary was October 1st, so Spencer’s post is late. The post seems to be at least partly due to the highly anticipated release of Marvel Studios blade The film has been postponed indefinitely. The film was announced in summer 2019 and Mahershala Ali is set to play the title role. Unfortunately, the film has since been postponed several times and has been creatively reworked by various writers and directors. Many have begun to fear that the project could be scrapped, and these fears have only been heightened by the news that the project has been abandoned blade was removed from Disney’s release schedule.

It is possible blade will still see the light of day, but the project has had one hell of a run and many are wondering why Marvel is struggling to make a film with a character that was done brilliantly in the ’90s and ’00s. However, it looks like fans may just have to settle for a new video game.

Arkane Studios’ blade won’t be the first video game based on the character, but it will certainly be the most noticeable since it won’t serve as a tie-in for a film. The developer is known for its violent and satisfying first-person combat, but will opt for a more traditional third-person approach blade. Only time will tell how the game turns out, but it will be a game that Xbox will want to kill off as it is a big IP and gives the platform the opportunity to compete Marvel’s Spider-Man.
