Microsoft has released the latest non-security preview update for Windows 10 version 22H2 at KB5045594 with build number 19045.5073. It includes a new Account Manager in the Start menu and some bug fixes.

[Start menu] New! This update starts the introduction of the new Account Manager in the Start menu. The new design makes it easier to view your account and access account settings. To switch to a different user, select the ellipsis (…) next to Sign Out. The Lock command is now in the Power menu. Note: This change may not be available to all users as it is being rolled out gradually.

[ Multi-Function Printer (MFP) ]

  • Fixed: When you connect using a USB cable, a specific network command text is printed when necessary.
  • Fixed: A scanner driver cannot be installed when you use a USB cable to connect to an MFP.

  • [Upgrade to Windows 11] Fixed: A race condition causes stop error 0x3B. This may occur when you upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 1.
  • [Product activation phone numbers] Fixed: This will add new phone numbers for multiple regions.
  • [Country and Operator Settings Asset (COSA)] Fixed: This update brings profiles for certain carriers up to date.
  • [WebView2 apps] Fixed: They don’t recognize input from Xbox 360 and Bluetooth controllers.
  • [Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) (known issue)] Fixed: When you log in to AVD, you may see a black screen. You may also find that you cannot log out of your account. The black screen remains even if you disconnect and reconnect the AVD. The application event log shows Event ID:1000, which indicates an error in svchost.exe_AppXSvc.
