Diamond Sports Group has announced a new partnership with FanDuel and rebranded its regional sports networks (RSNs) Bally Sports under the FanDuel Sports Network name.

The agreement, released during Diamond’s restructuring through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, grants FanDuel exclusive naming rights to Diamond’s 16 RSNs and digital properties, including its direct-to-consumer service Bally Sports+.

The newly rebranded channels such as FanDuel Sports Network Midwest, FanDuel Sports Network Ohio and others are expected to provide prominent media placement for FanDuel on live NBA, NHL and MLB broadcasts. The deal also opens up the opportunity for FanDuel to resell Diamond’s direct-to-consumer products and integrate FanDuel TV programming, which includes popular shows such as “Up & Adams” and “Run It Back.”

“Partnering with Diamond provides us with the opportunity to place the FanDuel brand at the intersection of the nation’s largest group of regional sports networks,” said FanDuel Sports President Mike Raffensperger. “A large cohort of FanDuel customers are loyal RSN viewers and this agreement allows us to further solidify the FanDuel brand among sports fans and provides a unique means of rewarding our users.”

Although financial terms were not disclosed, both companies have said they will continue to expand the partnership. Further details will be announced in the coming months.
