Trump to appear on the Joe Rogan podcast

Donald Trump is set to appear on The Joe Rogan Experience in his latest move to appeal to young men.

The former president will join Rogan on Friday at his studio in Austin, Texas, Politico reported.

The Joe Rogan Experience is one of the most popular podcasts in the US, with an audience that skews heavily male and young, with 81% of listeners being men, 56% of which are 18-34, according to a recent survey.

Trump also recently appeared on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend.

Kamala Harris has made her own podcast appearances, including the popular Call Her Daddy show.

Trump recently hinted at thawed relations between himself and Rogan, calling him a “good guy” earlier this month.

Rogan had previously called Trump an “existential threat to democracy” and had suggested that he preferred Robert Kennedy Jr. to both Trump and Harris.

Trump hit back in August, writing on Truth Social that Rogan will be booed “the next time he enters the UFC Ring” after the podcast.

But last month, Rogan seems to have warmed to the former president, saying he economy under Trump “did really well.”

He added that Trump “really did try to cut some of the b*llshit down that’s going on in this country.”

The Joe Rogan Experience is available on YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Rogan has one of the world’s most-listened to podcasts with over 14 million followers on Spotify.

Trump campaign is selling t-shirts of his McDonald’s drive-thru visit

Donald Trump was quick to capitalize on his McDonald’s visit with $100 shirts featuring a picture of the former president waving from the drive-thru window with the caption “MAGADonalds”.

“I have a McGift for you!” the Trump campaign website reads.

“I am the first and only 2024 presidential nominee to work at McDonald’s. But thanks to Kamala, prices for a meal are through the roof!”

The visit, which has been called a “stunt” by some critics, came after Harris shared her experiences of working at McDonald’s as a student.

The Trump campaign has called Harris’ claim a lie, without providing evidence.

On Monday Harris, who has also not provided evidence that she did work at the Golden Arches, was asked: “Madam Vice President, did you work at a McDonalds?” She responded: “Did I? I did.”

In an internal statement on Sunday, McDonald’s corporate office said that the company was not political and was not endorsing either candidate for president.

However, it did say that, “we and our franchisees don’t have records for all positions dating back to the early ’80s.”

Eminem becomes latest music star to join Kamala Harris campaign

Rapper Eminem will join former President Barack Obama tonight at a rally in his home state of Michigan for Vice President Kamala Harris.

The rapper is not expected to perform but will reportedly welcome Obama and speak about the presidential race.

Eminem is a long-time critic of former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, previously saying a “f****** turd would have been a better president.” In 2017, he released a diss track aimed at the then-president, which led to the rapper being interviewed by the Secret Service over “threatening” lyrics.

Obama is a long-time fan of Eminem’s, having previously revealed that he would listen to the track ‘Lose Yourself,’ while on the campaign trail in 2008.

Michigan is one of seven crucial battleground states in the 2024 presidential election. Tuesday’s rally comes as the election is two weeks away, and Harris and Trump are locked in a dead-heat race for the White House.

While Eminem has yet to formally endorse Harris, given his prior remarks about Trump, there was little question about who the grandfather-to-be would be supporting.

Rep. Carlos Gimenez speaks on Trump’s comments about Harris

Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R-Fla.) defended Trump’s comments about Harris during the former president’s roundtable regarding her having a “low IQ” and being “slow” and “lazy as hell.”

“I’ve heard that people that know her, that had interactions with her, that she has difficulty carrying on a normal conversation,” Gimenez said.

New Ted Cruz on Harris and Colin Allred in new ad: ‘Two liberals, too liberal for Texas’

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz released an ad from his campaign focused on attacking transgender policies.

“Harris called keeping boys out of girls’ bathrooms hateful. Colin Allred voted for boys in girls sports twice,” Cruz’s ad opens. He concludes, saying, “Harris and Allred: two liberals, too liberal for Texas.”

Allred responded on-air in an ad of his own, saying: “Ted Cruz is lying again, but now he’s lying about our Children. I’m a dad, I’m also a Christian, and my faith has taught me that all kids are God’s kids. So let me be clear. I don’t want boys playing girls’ sports or any of this ridiculous stuff that Ted Cruz is saying. Ted Cruz is lying about my record because he can’t defend his own. He’s done nothing to secure the border and he wants to raise the retirement age for social security. He’s full of it.”

In response to the ad, Cruz Campaign spokesperson said, “Colin Allred has lied through his teeth throughout his entire campaign, but to hit the airwaves and do it in such an obvious manner shows just how arrogant his campaign really is. Texas voters have a right to know that the man vying for their vote can’t be trusted, and this ad makes that clear.

Harris holds large advantage in NY poll

Vice President Kamala Harris has established her largest advantage, now at 19 points, over former President Donald Trump, currently leading 58-39% among likely voters, an increase from 55-42% in September, according to a Siena College New York State Poll. In a race with multiple candidates, Harris holds a 54-37% lead over Trump, up from 52-40% in the previous month, while minor party candidates account for four percent, according to a Siena College poll of likely voters in New York State released today.

Voters consistently express a strong preference for Harris over Trump regarding abortion (64-31%) and democracy (58-38%). They also slightly favor Harris on the economy (52-46%) and immigration (50-46%).

Trump calls Harris ‘lazy’ over her campaign schedule

During a roundtable with Latino leaders today, Donald Trump complained about his busy campaign schedule compared to Kamala Harris.

Harris is off the trail today but is sitting down for two interviews; with NBC News and Telemundo.

“She’s sleeping right now,” Trump said during the event at Trump’s Doral, Florida, golf club.

“She couldn’t go on the trail. You know, you think when you have 14 days left, you wouldn’t be sleeping. She’s not doing anything today,” Trump said. “You know why she’s lazy as hell, and she’s got that reputation.”

Don’t expect McDonald’s to confirm Kamala Harris’ employment: franchisee

McDonald’s corporate office is unlikely to provide further details regarding Vice President Kamala Harris’ employment in the early 1980s, one of the burger chain’s franchisees told Newsweek.

The fast-food behemoth typically eschews wading directly into U.S. politics — with Sunday’s internal message to owner-operators marking the first time the company had addressed Harris’ references to working at a California McDonald’s decades earlier while in college.

“McDonald’s tries hard to stay out of politics,” the franchisee, who owns multiple locations and wished to remain anonymous, said in an interview.

“The email [Sunday] was the first time anything was mentioned. I do not think McDonald’s has any desire sorting through any type of files to find out if this is true.”

Even if they wanted to, the franchisee doubts McDonald’s corporate executives have any way to verify Harris’ employment records from 41 years ago, since most owner-operators generally keep former crew rosters for seven years, or only as long as they’re legally required to do so for tax or other legal purposes.

CEO of Goya Foods Bob Unaue said that he is “fed up” with Kamala Harris, calling her “que-mala,” which translates to “how bad” in Spanish during Trump’s Latino roundtable in Doral, Florida.

“We have become from the Land of Opportunity to the Land of Exploitation, and the Exploiter-In-Chief is Que-Mala Harris and this administration. I say that as a Latino who is fed up,” Unaue said. Then, in Spanish, he added, “Enough with the abuse.”

Harris to focus on abortion rights during Texas event Friday

Kamala Harris will be traveling to Houston, Texas on Friday to target abortion rights during a campaign stop in the state, a senior campaign official said. Harris is expected to speak on how a second Trump term would affect women were he to be elected as she covers topics from the overturning of Roe v. Wade and abortion bans happening across states.

Harris is visiting Texas with under two weeks remaining until Election Day, and the campaign is optimistic that the importance of reproductive rights will encourage voters to go to the polls. This November, residents in at least 10 states will cast their votes to influence the future of abortion access within their state.

Kamala Harris claimed that Donald Trump has “disrespected” the Hispanic community as she launched her new economic proposals for Latino men.

The Vice President took a swipe at Trump in a tweet on Tuesday, as he met with Latino leaders in Miami.

“Donald Trump has disrespected and insulted Latino men and communities. As president, I will invest in them,” she tweeted.

Harris then shared her proposals to “deliver real changes for Latino men and their families”.

Both presidential candidates are vying to win support from the key voting bloc ahead of November 5.

“They need $9 trillion to do a charging station, I read the other day,” he said.

Trump says border is ‘the biggest thing’ as he meets with Latino leaders in Miami

Donald Trump is meeting with Hispanic voters and leaders at Trump National Doral Miami this morning.

He was joined by notable Florida Republicans U.S. Sen. Rick Scott and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez who endorsed the former president earlier this year.

Trump told the crowd the border was “the biggest thing” above the economy and inflation.

“I think it’s the biggest thing,” he said of the border. “We talk about the economy, we talk about inflation, let’s put them together. but there’s something about that border that’s really evil.”

Trump also claimed at the event that Border Control had “endorsed” him for president, “something they are not supposed to do”.

Scheduled Trump/RFK Jr. town hall canceled

The Trump campaign announced that a virtual town hall featuring Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been canceled due to scheduling conflicts, the New York Times said. It had already been rescheduled because of Hurricane Milton, and the abrupt cancellation follows Trump pulling out of various other media engagements.

New poll shows Trump and Harris neck and neck. What if the election is a tie?

Anew poll by 2020’s most accurate pollster has revealed a scenario in which an Electoral College draw between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump is possible.

The survey, published on Saturday by AtlasIntel, showed Trump ahead in Georgia, Michigan and Pennsylvania, while Harris led in North Carolina, Arizona, Nevada and Wisconsin. If those results were replicated in the election, each candidate would receive 269 votes each, with no path to 270. AtlasIntel was deemed the most accurate pollster in 2020 by statistician Nate Silver, who said the firm was “close on the margins.”

Current polling averages from FiveThirtyEight also put Georgia and Pennsylvania in the red column, but Michigan remains blue. Trump also leads in Arizona and North Carolina, according to FiveThirtyEight. If the election were held today, he would win with 281 Electoral College votes, based on the current model. The FiveThirtyEight forecast also says that there is only a three percent chance that there is no overall winner in the Electoral College.

How the Swing States are looking in the polls

With just two weeks to go, the 2024 election is still too close to call with a tight race being run across the Swing States.

According to 538 poll, Kamala Harris is currently 0.3 points ahead in Wisconsin, 0.2 points ahead in Michigan and 0.3 points ahead in Nevada, meaning all three battleground states are essentially tied.

Donald Trump leads by 0.3 points in Pennsylvania, 0.8 points in North Carolina, 1.5 points in Georgia and 1.9 points in Arizona.

Trump is on course to win the election with 281 Electoral College votes under 538’s current forecast, barring any shock results elsewhere.

Pollster Nate Silver, who founded 538 and now uses a similar forecast model, has Harris ahead in the blue wall states of Michigan and Wisconsin by 0.6 points, as well as 0.5 points in Nevada. Trump and Harris are tied on 48 percent in Pennsylvania.

Silver has Trump beating Harris on average in North Carolina (plus 1 point), Georgia (plus 1.3 points) and Arizona (plus 2 points). Trump has improved his polling averages in all seven swing states compared to last week.

RealClearPolitics has Trump ahead over Harris in all seven swing states.

The former president is ahead in Arizona by 1.8 points, Nevada by 0.7 points, Michigan by 1.2, Pennsylvania by 0.8 points, North Carolina by 0.5, Georgia by 1.8 points and by 0.4 points in Wisconsin.

Harris campaign adviser says election could be decided by less than 1 percentage point

Leading advisor to the Harris campaign, David Plouffe, noted that the seven key battleground states that will determine the election might each be settled by a margin of less than 1 percentage point and indicated that Trump is expected to exceed his previous popular vote results.

“Historically, it would be unusual to have seven states come down to a point or less,” Plouffe said on CNN. “But I think at this point, you have to assume that’s a distinct possibility.”

Kamala Harris has shared the reasons why she loves Gen Z at a campaign event in Pennsylvania in conversation with former Republican Representative Liz Cheney on Monday.

Harris was asked what she envisions as the next chapter for the country if she were to be elected president. She went on to say Gen Z are “so wonderfully impatient,” explaining, “No really, that’s good. They’re ready to get in there. Let’s invest in them.”

Bruce Springsteen to headline Harris’s joint rally with Obama

Music icon Bruce Springsteen will headline Vice President Kamala Harris’s inaugural joint rally with former President Barack Obama in Atlanta on Thursday, launching a series of concerts in key swing states.

Springsteen announced his endorsement for Harris earlier this month in a video taped from a diner in Freehold, New Jersey.

“Perhaps not since the Civil War has this great country felt as politically, spiritually, and emotionally divided as it does at this moment,” Springsteen said. “It doesn’t have to be this way. [Kamala Harris and Tim Walz] are committed to a vision of this country that respects and includes everyone, regardless of class, religion, race, your political point of view or sexual identity, and they want to grow the economy in a way that benefits all, not just a few like me.
