Plan to “Kill Musk’s Twitter” Revealed in Leaked CCDH Files

The Center for Countering Digital Hate’s monthly agenda templates list “Killing Musk’s Twitter” as their main goal, according to internal documents reviewed by The DisInformation Chronicle.

The sentence appears as the first point in planning documents from 2024.

The documents reveal that CCDH, a British non-profit organization, contained plans to take “regulatory action” against X, formerly Twitter. The organization’s focus on X arises when questions arise about its activities under its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.

Records show CCDH held meetings with several groups, including representatives from the Biden White House, Congressman Adam Schiff’s office, the State Department and Media Matters for America.

The documents emerge amid ongoing litigation between CCDH and X. In 2023, X filed a lawsuit against the nonprofit. A federal judge dismissed the case, saying it appeared to be an attempt to punish CCDH for its critical reporting on the platform.
