Dating apps have become the hub for the latest dating trends and, according to leading apps like Bumble, it’s time to choose a poison: winter coat or cobwebs.

With the winter season approaching, you’re probably debating which approach you want to take: get cozy and cozy for the winter or go solo. If you’re ready to find your boyfriend, read on.

Cobwebbing is for those of you who want to embark on a new love but find themselves caught in its web. Bumble’s sex and dating expert Dr. Caroline West explained, “Holding on to past relationships, be they phone numbers, messages, or even an old T-shirt, can hold you back in dating because you’re not mentally focused on the present.” Basically, it’s time to to remove the cobwebs from your pleasure center and your heart and walk with the old and old In with the new. If you’re having a hard time removing the essence of past partners from your life, ask a friend to hold you accountable. You can do this.

When weaving spider webs, keep an eye out for poisonous animals that are susceptible to winter coating. UK-based dating app Inner Circle shared: “Winter jacketers return to someone they’ve previously dated – like pulling out their trusty, trusty winter coat – and pick up where they left off. But as soon as the first signs of spring appear, they are thrown away and forgotten again, much like the winter coat.” And of course, every time they’ve fallen into this trap, even Inner Circle users have revealed that it never worked out has.
