Sabrina Carpenter joins the “And then I ruin everything” TikTok trend.

One of the latest trends on TikTok is actress Jennifer Lawrence singing in her 2015 film Joy – So what’s the “And then I spoil everything” trend?

Basically, in the film, Lawrence sings, “And then I spoil it all by saying something stupid like ‘I love you,'” a famous line from the Frank and Nancy Sinatra song “Somethin’ Stupid.”

But it wouldn’t be a TikTok trend without a twist, and in this case, instead of saying “I love you,” users reveal something stupid in the overlay text that could ruin a relationship.

Singer Sabrina Carpenter even joined the trend of her saying something stupid had something to do with her hit song: “And then I spoil it all by saying something stupid like… ‘That’s my espresso’ over a line of hers.” Chorus in “Espresso”.

The clip has a whopping 51.8 million views as people enjoyed Sabrina’s video in the comments section.

One person said: “No, ‘That’s that me Espresso’ is iconic.”

“I think Sabrina is sick of espresso,” another person wrote.

Someone else added: “Sabrina you ate and didn’t leave any crumbs.”

But Sabrina isn’t the only one taking part in this trend, here are some of our favorites:

Even the Democratic Party posted a video on TikTok to join the trend, playing the song and then adding a clip of Trump giving a speech to the Black Conservative Federation in February.

The former president said: “Would you rather have a black president or a white president who gets $1.7 billion cheaper?” I think they want the white guy.”
