Leading Assisted Stretching Franchise Expands Reach with New Honolulu Studio and 1,000 Licenses Sold Worldwide

IRVINE, Calif., October 22, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–StretchLab, the largest assisted stretching brand, today announced that it has officially reached 500 open locations in the U.S. while celebrating the recent opening of StretchLab Honolulu in Hawaii. The opening of the Honolulu studio marks a milestone for the franchise, as it is the first StretchLab to open its doors in the Aloha State capital. The opening represents a unique achievement as the company officially exceeds the number of 500 open studios worldwide and the number of 1,000 licenses granted, thus consolidating its status as leader in this modality with continued demand.

“Exceeding 500 locations just 10 months after celebrating 400 locations opened, as well as awarding over 1,000 licenses worldwide, is a testament to the rapid rise of this once niche practice and how useful assisted stretching is to consumers across the board of communities,” said Verdine Baker, president of StretchLab. “Our franchisees are incredibly dedicated and the locations are welcoming, making each StretchLab feel like a home away from home for its members. We are grateful for the trust our members have placed in us and look forward to further expanding our presence in 2025.”

“We are excited to be the first StretchLab to enter Honolulu and bring the soothing power of assisted stretching to the community,” said Cole Raven, franchise owner of StretchLab Honolulu. “StretchLab has given my family the opportunity to start a business that is purpose-driven, community-oriented and truly changes lives for the better. Given the already very strong response from the community, we are excited to see the positive impact our project will have.” The StretchLab Honolulu team will be bringing along.”

StretchLab has studios in 45 states and has opened new studios in more than 15 states in 2024, in addition to Hawaii. The brand also continues to grow internationally, with a presence in Australia, Canada, Mexico, Kuwait, Japan and other countries across the sea via Princess Cruises’ fleet of cruise ships.

StretchLab is proud to be an industry leader in assisted stretching training as its Flexologist™ Training Program (FTP) was accredited by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) in late 2022. Today, more than 5,400 trained flexologists actively serve clients in studios across North America. Backed by Xponential Fitness, a leading global franchisor of boutique health and wellness brands, StretchLab has a large and loyal following. Clients work individually with highly trained flexologists in an open, modern and friendly environment to increase their mobility and flexibility and achieve deeper, more advanced stretching than they could achieve alone. The studios utilize Physmodo MAPS technology, which tracks mobility, muscle activation, posture and body symmetry, to create customized and holistic stretching programs for clients to achieve their wellness goals.
