Ashton Jeanty expressed his desire to play in Dallas and the Chiefs and be a hometown hero

Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, a leading Heisman Trophy candidate, expressed interest in playing for the Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs on a live stream. His chances of playing in Kansas City or Dallas are slim, but he is a generational talent at running back and will likely be a top-10 pick. Jeanty, a true freshman at Boise State in 2022, played in all 14 games with two starts and finished the year with 821 yards on 156 carries and seven touchdowns. He rushed for 178 yards and a touchdown in the 2022 Frisco Bowl. In 2023, Jeanty led the team with 1,347 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns while also recording 569 receiving yards and 5 receiving touchdowns. He was second nationally in yards from scrimmage and was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year.
In the 2024 season opener against Georgia Southern, Jeanty broke a 46-year-old single-game record for Boise State and tied the Paulson Stadium and Mountain West records. He is considered the top running back prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft and a Heisman Trophy candidate.
