The 2024/25 UEFA Champions League continues its league phase with several high-profile encounters between Europe’s elite clubs.

This week Barcelona welcomes FC Bayern Munich to the Olympic Stadium. Meanwhile, Real Madrid hosts Dortmund and Premier League leaders Liverpool face RB Leipzig.

The tournament has expanded from 32 to 36 teams, with every club participating in the league stage, a change from the previous group stage format. At the end of the league phase, the best eight teams automatically advance to the round of 16.
