Elementary School Day registrations are open for the game on November 8th

Mike Neighbors, head coach of the Arkansas women’s basketball team, invites area schools to Elementary Day, scheduled for Friday, November 8th. This event provides elementary schools the opportunity to get to know the Hogs as the women’s team will face Texas A&M Commerce at 10:30 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena.

Last season’s Elementary Day 82-79 victory over Murray State drew a crowd of 11,026, the fourth-best in school history and the best crowd for an Elementary Day.

Elementary Day offers free admission to all elementary students, teachers, staff, and support staff. Area schools and homeschoolers can use the field trip to promote and provide a healthy lifestyle through physical activity and give students the opportunity to visit the University of Arkansas and watch a women’s basketball game. The elementary schools in attendance will be recognized during the game and a fun halftime event will take place.
