UPSC CDS 1 2024 Final Result Released. Direct link to download

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the Combined Defense Services (CDS) I 2024 exam on the official website. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official UPSC website i.e. upsc.gov.in by entering their login details.

The result was officially released on October 21, 2024 and includes a total of 237 candidates who qualified for various defense academies. Specifically, 158 candidates were selected for the Indian Military Academy (IMA), 44 for the Indian Naval Academy (INA) and 34 for the Air Force Academy.

As per the UPSC notification, the vacancies filled under this selection process include 100 vacancies for the IMA, 32 for the INA (of which six are reserved for NCC ‘C’ certificate holders of the Naval Wing) and 32 for the Air Force Academy (with three being reserved for Air Wing NCC-C certificate holders. The IMA has also reserved 13 vacancies for Army Wing NCC-C certificate holders.

Qualified candidates must now submit their original certificates to the respective military headquarters (Army, Navy or Air Force) for verification of their date of birth and educational qualifications.
