Two Escambia County men have been arrested by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for child abuse crimes.

21-year-old Mason Nicholas Radford was charged

  • three counts of using a computer to entice, solicit, lure or entice a minor
  • two counts of transmitting obscene material to a minor
  • three points to promote a child’s sexual performance, and
  • Three counts of using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.

Ryan Stephen Traynor, 52, was charged with one count each of using a computer to entice, solicit, lure or entice a minor and using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.

According to FDLE, Pensacola Cyber ​​Squad agents were contacted by the suspects during two sting operations in which agents played the roles of 14-year-old girls. Both suspects sent sexual solicitation messages to the “girls” after being told they were communicating with a juvenile.

Both men were booked into the Escambia County Jail. Radford remained in jail on $475,000 bail. Traynor was released on $50,000 bail.
