More Pokémon leaks have surfaced, revealing a co-op multiplayer game involving rampage and climbing Mons, as well as a weapon.

The last few weeks have been wild for Pokémon fans, as Game Freak suffered a massive data leak that revealed all sorts of unreleased game builds, content, and much more. Among these leaks is a Pokémon game that is said to have similar gameplay to Splatoon.

Codenamed “Synapse,” there is now more information about what this game is about. Like Centro LEAKS in a post

As a player, your main goal is essentially to “defeat and ride frenzied Pokémon.” Some gameplay footage has also been leaked, showing various Mons as mounts.

When mounting a Pokemon, gameplay footage also showed that you can attack by throwing another Pokemon’s Pokeball, causing it to use its abilities.

Overall, the premise seems like what an online co-op Pokémon game would look like – but there’s an interesting addition. Just like the description from a previous leak, there was a weapon in this game too.

The leaked images showed a weapon that looks more like a spray can, in keeping with the information that the game appears to be inspired by Splatoon. Gameplay-wise, there’s no footage of it in action, but it already looks like a new addition to the series.

Some other leaked features also revealed that you can customize Mons with paint markers and that the game was originally planned for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.

According to leaked information, the game was originally codenamed “Rodeo.” Speculation suggested that Project Rodeo was canceled and the concept was “re-acquired by ILCA/Game Freak under the new codename Synapse.”

While it’s unclear whether this game will see the light of day, according to leaks, “a new version of the game may still be created.”
