Aaron Gordon, a key player on Denver’s 2022-23 championship team, has agreed to a three-year extension worth $133 million with a player option for 2028-29, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Monday.

Gordon has reportedly opted out of the 2025-26 season, with three more seasons after that at his maximum salary.

Gordon, 29, has spent the last three-plus seasons in Denver, averaging 14.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 241 games. His all-around game was an essential complement to three-time Kia NBA MVP Nikola Jokic as the Nuggets won their first championship in 2022-23.
