Prospective students were welcomed to the second open day

At its second open house in a month, Cal State Monterey Bay will welcome transfer students on Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. New students who were unable to attend the previous open day are also invited. together with their families.

Guests can take guided campus tours that include a close look at residential, dining and recreational options. You can also participate in hands-on learning activities and demos offered by various academic departments to get a taste of what CSUMB has to offer and hopefully be inspired to enroll. Financial aid and admissions sessions are offered.

Highlights of the day include:

  • All CSUMB undergraduate colleges will be represented on Divarty Street from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Students can talk to professors and administrators about different courses and find out about possible courses.
  • The Otter Student Union will host formal presentations on admissions (one in Spanish) and housing, as well as a student panel discussion.
  • Presentations on financial aid (also offered in Spanish) and 1:1 assistance with applying to CSUMB are available in the library
  • Campus and residential tours are offered between noon and 2:30 p.m
  • A Campus Life and Resource Fair will be held in the Main District from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Various programs and clubs will provide information and answer questions.
