Ravens vs. Buccaneers Week 7 inactive: Defensive depth decreased with 2 absences

The Baltimore Ravens and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are scheduled to kick off in 90 minutes and officials have been released. The Ravens have to do without two defensive players.

Ravens Inactive

  • DT Broderick Washington
  • LB Malik Harrison
  • OLB Adisa Isaac
  • C Nick Samac
  • S Beau Brade
  • RB Rasheen Ali

Both Washington and Harrison have made regular defensive tackles this season, leaving the Ravens’ defensive line and linebacker rotation a little looser. Washington has played 126 total snaps this season, or 39% of defensive snaps. Harrison played 50 defensive snaps, so taking him out defensively isn’t a huge loss, but he played 121 snaps, or 81% of all defensive snaps for the Ravens.

The loss of Harrison on special teams appears to be mitigated by the Ravens’ loss of linebacker Kristian Welch earlier in the week. He has been a special teamer for the Ravens for several years and will be a plug-and-play contributor against the Buccaneers.

The Buccaneers have wide receiver Mike Evans active after he made a game-time decision.

Buccaneers inactive

  • DL CJ Brewer
  • PJake Camarda
  • TE Payne Durham
  • OL Royce Newman
  • OLB Jose Ramirez
