The menu features seasonal ingredients sourced from a network of local farmers and foragers, ensuring a delicious and fresh dining experience. Gorse Bakery

The Gorse Bakery in Newquay is a baker’s paradise. The independent sourdough bakery is a testing ground for unique pastry flavors, offering everything from lemon curd and Italian meringue cookies to caramelized white chocolate Suisse or feta, fennel and honey cheese twists. If you’re interested in coffee, you’ve probably heard of Origin, which originated in the small fishing village of Porthleven in Cornwall. With its industrial yet warm interior, Origin Harbor Head is the perfect place to escape windier days and enjoy the ocean views. The menu ranges from poached eggs with asparagus to flaked almond croissants. But the real highlight is the coffee. Founded by Rob Green, whose culinary journey began during his travels in Sri Lanka, the bakery has naturally expanded from its humble beginnings at a stall in Borough Market to multiple locations including East London. At the heart of Pavilion is a commitment to craftsmanship, from the hand-rolled baguette to the hand-picked pantry. Tucked away in a small kiosk in St Ives, Yallah Coffee has mastered the art of a great caffeinated drink. Sustainability is the focus as the beans are shipped from Veracruz in Mexico to Cornwall by sailboat. Although the interior is minimalist (think wooden seating and earthy tones throughout), the star of the show is the large open window that looks out over the harbor. It also has a stronghold within the community, offering group sea dives and performing at local markets.
