The White House defends itself against Pentagon leaks to Iran

White House press secretary Karine Jean Pierre was pressed Monday over a serious revelation of top-secret information from the Pentagon over the weekend that revealed Israel’s retaliatory plans against Iran. She sent questions from reporters back to the Defense Department.

“We are well aware of the reports. We are very worried. I won’t go into details. I won’t go into details.”

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are calling the leak an act of treason.

Spokesman Mike Johnson confirms to CNN that the leak of classified US intelligence documents about Israel’s plans to attack Iran is authentic and is being investigated:

The search for the leaker is ongoing. Given that the Iranians have infiltrated the Biden administration and are working at the highest levels of the Pentagon and State Department, there are ideas about who did this.

Meanwhile, Israel continues to plan measures against Iran after the regime launched a lighter attack on the country this month with hundreds of ballistic missiles.
