Great Falls Symphony is hosting a free Halloween family matinee

GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls Symphony will host a Halloween Family Matinee at the Mansfield Theater on Saturday, October 26, 2024.

Participants are encouraged to dress in costume. Listen to the scariest music ever! The Halloween Family Matinee is both educational and exciting and suitable for all ages.

The concert lasts about an hour without an intermission.

Free candy will be available for trick-or-treaters after the concert.

The program starts at 11 a.m.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26: The Great Falls Public Library will host its annual event Halloween costume contest/party from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It is aimed at children/young people aged 3 to 14 and their carers. Make your own costume using the materials provided. Please leave purchased costumes at home! To keep the competition fair for everyone, only costumes that you make yourself from materials provided by the library will be entered into the competition. Winners will be chosen at 11 a.m. and will receive a free Walmart gift card to add the finishing touches to their costume! Other activities include making spooky snow globes, musical chairs and painting. The library is located at 301 Second Avenue North. For more information, call 406.453.034.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 27: Aim High Recreation Center will host one Kiwanis Trunk or Treat Event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Along with the suitcase or treat there will be a haunted house and DJ Sarge will be playing some great music. There’s also hot cocoa, smells and sweets! If you would like to access or treat the trunk, please contact Andrea Keller at 406-781-3199. The recreation center is located at 900 29th Street South.
