RICHMOND, Va. (October 21, 2024) – Stony Brook jumped into the Top 25 for the first time this season and was one of five CAA football teams ranked in the FCS Top 10 released Monday by Stats Perform and the AFCA. 25 polls were placed.

Villanova (5-2) slipped to No. 13 in the Stats poll and No. 14 in the AFCA poll after a 35-7 loss at Maine last week. The Wildcats return home to take on New Hampshire on Saturday.

Richmond (5-2) climbed to No. 13 in the AFCA poll and No. 18 in the Stats poll after a 28-9 win over previously unbeaten Delaware. The Spiders travel to Bryant this week.

William and Mary (5-2) was ranked 16th in the Stats poll and 15th in the AFCA poll after a 35-28 win over Campbell. The tribe visits Stony Brook on Saturday.

Rhode Island (6-1) moved to No. 15 in the Stats rankings and No. 16 in the AFCA rankings after its 26-9 win at New Hampshire last week. The Rams host Maine this Saturday.

Stony stream (5-2) was ranked No. 24 by the AFCA and received votes in the Stats poll following its 52-24 win at Towson last Saturday. The Seawolves entertain William and Mary this week.

Monmouth (4-3) and New Hampshire (4-3) received votes in both polls, among others Maine (4-3) received votes in the statistical poll for the first time.

Hampton (4-3) is #7 in the HBCU Football Media Poll conducted by BOXTOROW. The Pirates host Elon this Saturday.
