Flying Lotus shares teaser for its new sci-fi film “Ash” starring Eiza González and Aaron Paul: Watch

After staying away from music for a while, Flying Lotus recently released his tracks “Garmonbozia” and “Ingo Swann”. But FlyLo’s music doesn’t stop him from his film endeavors. In 2017, Flying Lotus made his directorial debut with the bugged body horror film Kuso. FlyLo also directed part of the 2019 horror anthology V/H/S/99and his next film is on the way. Flying Lotus announced this two years ago Baby driver Star Eiza González and breaking Bad The great Aaron Paul would star in his science fiction film ash. (They replace Tessa Thompson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the film’s original leads.) Well, those ash Trailer is out.

ash will be published next year. Initially, the film will be released in theaters via RLJE Films, the niche distributor responsible for stark genre films Mandy And Bone Toawhawk. Thereafter, ash will be available on Shudder, the horror-centric streaming service. Here is the official plot synopsis:

On the mysterious planet Ash, Riya (González) awakens to find her crew slaughtered. When a man named Brion (Paul) arrives to rescue them, an ordeal of psychological and physical terror ensues as Riya and Brion must decide whether they can trust each other to survive.

The one-minute song looks about as trippy and intense as you could imagine. We should also make more of the fact that the cast includes damn Iko Uwais from The raidone of the greatest film fighters of all time. In the teaser we see him punching and kicking someone and that’s enough for me. Check out the teaser below.
