Tyler, the Creator Releases “NOID” Video Featuring Ayo Edebiri

Ayo Edebiri is a tear-shedding, drunk, gun-waving, obsessed fan in Tyler, the latest version of The Creator. Chromacopy.

On Monday, Tyler followed the “St. Chroma” video introducing “NOID.” The Tyler-directed video, surely another of many to come, arrives a week before Tyler’s new album. Tyler’s move toward an off-Friday rollout is consistent with comments he has made in the past about the industry-wide practice, particularly during a Nardwuar interview in 2023.

As the song’s title makes clear, Tyler explores feelings of paranoia in “NOID,” with the track’s narrator revealing his thoughts about neighbors who he believes “want me dead.”

Edebiri’s appearance in the latest video is perhaps (hopefully) a hint of what’s to come with the bigger one Chromacopy visual experience.
