RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Police in Texas are making a renewed effort to find a Reno woman who traveled to Texas and has been missing since 2018.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, there is renewed interest in the case of then-19-year-old Caitlin Denison based on new information allegedly collected by the Texas Rangers.

According to police, on January 9, 2018, Denison met a man with whom she then traveled to Midland, Texas. The man was known to have worked as a truck driver in the Permian Basin oil industry.

Police believe Denison stayed with the man in his RV, which may have been parked in West Odessa, Texas. The RV was then taken to a location in Midland on January 10th.

Denison told family and friends that she was with the man at a Walmart in Midland but was afraid for her life. Denison last had contact with the family on January 10, 2018.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Texas Rangers at 1-800-346-3243.
