Pokémon open-world RPG and remake leaked in full on PC – Nintendo

Pokémon is on the PC, so to speak

Pokémon is one of Nintendo’s most popular games and it’s unthinkable that it would be playable on competing platforms, right?

The Pokémon series made its debut in 1996 on the retro handheld console Game Boy Pokémon Red, Green And Blue. Since then, the franchise has grown into a giant in the entire entertainment industry.

From video games, trading cards, movies and anime, fans can never get enough of watching them all. Although it’s not the newest entry in the video game series, Pokémon Legends: Arceus The game, released in 2022 for the Nintendo Switch, is considered by many to be one of the best in the series.

Unfortunately, long-time Pokémon video game developer Game Freak fell victim to a massive data breach that leaked various information, not only about video games, but also about the Nintendo Switch 2 and the film’s sequel Detective Pikachu.

As DSOgaming reports, this data breach has also resulted in playable builds of it being leaked Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond And Pokémon Shiny Pearl into the wild, on the PC.

Additionally, these are native PC builds and not emulations coming from the Nintendo Switch. Before we get carried away, though, this doesn’t mean Game Freak or Nintendo have any plans to release these Pokémon games on PC.

Even console exclusive titles are developed on PC and for this reason there are cracked playable builds of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond And Pokémon Shiny Pearl exist.

While we wouldn’t recommend downloading these leaked builds for obvious reasons, there are gameplay footage available on platforms like YouTube. Although Nintendo is understandably working hard to remove them.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond And Pokémon Shiny Pearl are all now available on Nintendo Switch.
