Fallout fans are in love with the new open-world Xbox RPG – Xbox

Fancy a journey into a new open-world RPG that’s similar to Fallout but not a copy?

If you just answered yes, this Xbox game might be exactly what you’re looking for.

With a Fallout game canceled “effective immediately,” the Fallout community could use a little glimmer of hope.

Nuclear fall is that a shimmer?

Rebellion, known for the Sniper Elite series, is behind this upcoming title.

What sets this post-apocalyptic world apart is the fact that it is based on a real event.

“A survival action game inspired by real events, Nuclear fall is set five years after the Windscale nuclear disaster in northern England.

“Explore the fictional quarantine zone, looting, crafting, trading, fighting and talking your way through a British landscape filled with bizarre characters, mysticism, cults and rogue government agencies,” the description reads.

It’s not just the synopsis that fascinates players, but also the gameplay trailer.

Redditor No-Plankton4841 wrote: “Looks pretty cool, I love the Sniper Elite games and most of what Rebellion puts out.” […] Definitely gives off Fallout vibes (maybe like KMart’s Fallout brand, honestly), but the English countryside setting is pretty cool. Charmed.”

You’re not the only one who wants to learn more about this new survival experience.

“That looks sick. The overall gameplay loop seems really fun and the plot sounds really interesting. If the story lives up to this premise and the gameplay is as fun as it seems, I will be very excited to play this game,” said @TheHamAndEggsGreen.

User @rook37 noted: “Man I’m so excited about this. The setting seems super cool […] I’m really looking forward to exploring this world and letting more people discover what they’ve been missing.”

We could list more enthusiastic comments, the hype is so great Nuclear fall.

Unfortunately, this Rebellion game isn’t due out until March 2025.

While that’s frustrating, at least there’s plenty of information about this Fallout-inspired experience to keep us on our toes until the release date.
