Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Free Download Available for a Very Limited Time – Playstation

Let’s be honest, we’re all shocked by the canceled DLC announcement.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is finally set to release on PC in January, but that happy news was accompanied by the bombshell that Insomniac Games has “no additional story content” planned for the title.

This was obviously not originally the case.

You may recall that Insomniac Games was previously the victim of a major cyberattack that leaked the studio’s roadmap.

This included confirmation of several planned DLCs, similar to what we saw with the original Marvel’s Spider-Man.

But even without the leak, the game itself screamed just as loudly.

Carnage and Chameleon weren’t just brought into existence for no reason, and while I think the argument now will be that they will somehow play a role in the next mainline game, it doesn’t seem like that was the plan.

It was theorized that the DLCs might have been canceled after the leak, so I think that seems to be true.

However, I have a little consolation gift that might lift your spirits a little.

PlayStation Stars users can currently get their hands on a nice piece Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Collectible.

I said it was a little gift.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be released in just over a week. Check out the game in action below.

It’s that’Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 | Exterminator Trophy Hunt” campaign that you want to click “Start”.

From there, just download the game and play it for a minute or two. Then grab the “Symbiote Canister” collectible.

“You managed! The Spider-Men raced through the city with sonic bombs, smashing every nest and taking the Exterminator trophy. It’s time to secure your special collectible,” the description reads.

The campaign finally ends on November 3rd. So if you haven’t already secured this collectible, it won’t take long to get involved.

Does it hurt to earn a symbiote canister after the Carnage DLC may have just been taken away from us? Somehow.

But if you want this limited-time trophy on your shelf, it’s going to take a brave face.
