4 star B&B in Grange-Over-Sands for sale with planning permission

The Grange Boutique Hotel in Grange-Over-Sands has recently undergone an “extensive” restoration and refurbishment and is now looking for new owners.

(Image: Colliers) The property features a collection of eight individual rooms, suites and apartments and also has planning permission for an extension.

Marketed by Colliers with an asking price of £995,000, the estate agent said: “It is currently operating as a stunning B&B but could easily be used as an investment with impressive returns or as an opportunity to open a restaurant and cocktail bar as it has all the necessary licenses .”

Steps lead up to the hotel reception hall, where there is a large lounge and a separate dining room with a large bay window.

The Butterfly Suite is described as an “incredibly stylish” apartment with “exquisite” butterfly garden wallpaper, a handcrafted super-king-size four-poster bed and antique Georgian wall paneling.

In addition to a country kitchen, there is a fireplace, a double whirlpool, an infrared sauna and a private entrance.

Other rooms include Cartmel, a deluxe king room, Yewbarrow, an executive queen room with wild flamingo wallpaper, and a superior king room on the ground floor.

There is a fully equipped commercial kitchen with standard appliances, a preparation room and a washing-up area, as well as a laundry room with a toilet.

The owners have received planning permission to build a single-storey extension off the dining room to create a new, fifth suite. There is also a large attic which is currently unused.
