Good time for gardening in autumn, the warming trend continues

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – We’re staying calm, but the days are getting warmer and the mornings are finally becoming seasonal again. The longer period is weather-wise and actually quite calm for the entire region. With lots of sun, a few passing clouds and warm afternoons.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

This morning there will be some fog, otherwise the sky will be clear. Temperatures will drop to 43 degrees in Knoxville and over 30 degrees in the valley. This is a little warmer than in the morning, but we are still a few degrees below average for now.

It’s another beautiful, sunny day! This time we’re warming up to about 5 degrees above average, with a high of 76 degrees in Knoxville. The evening hours will be cool again as we drop into the mid 60s by 8 p.m.

Dear gardeners, it’s a great week to plant seeds, bulbs and trees for spring blooms!

Tonight it will be clear and seasonally cool at 45 degrees, with patchy fog again.

The look forward

The afternoons will continue to be warm this week, but we won’t start to cool down until the weekend.

We warm up to over 70° Tuesday through Friday.

Mornings will also be milder, with some highs and lows in the 40s to low 50s.

We will see a few clouds Friday through Saturday as a weak front approaches and only scattered rain is possible, especially in the mountains.
