NFL

Both the Lions and Packers used late field goals to claim victory yesterday.

Jake Bates’ 44-yarder with 15 seconds left gave the Lions one 31-29 Victory over the previously undefeated Vikings. Jared Goff completed 22 of 25 passes for 280 yards and two touchdowns. Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 116 yards and two scores.

In his first game as a Packer, Brandon McManus hit a 45-yarder as time expired to lift the Packers past the Texans 24-22. Jordan Love threw three touchdown passes but also threw two interceptions.

The Steelers defeated Aaron Rodgers and the Jets 37-15 last night.
