CHICAGO (CBS) – The dry and warm trend will continue into the work week as a strong ridge of high pressure remains in place.

Winds around the ridge of high pressure continue to pull warm air into the Chicago area.

The low for Sunday night is 53° with clear skies. Monday will be unseasonably warm with highs in the lower 80s.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with occasional sprinkles and a high of 73 degrees.

A cool front with clouds will pass by Wednesday morning and cool northwest winds will create a cooler air mass for Wednesday and Thursday.
