Thompson recently responded to Green’s comments during an appearance on the Open the Run podcastHe admits that it will be strange at first, but that he will quickly get used to it. “If so, I’ll make two free throws, and I’m a pretty tough guy, so I think I can handle it.” Thompson said.

“It’ll probably be weird at first, but once the ball tips over and I start running around, there will be basketball again. Luckily, I’ve had a lot of success shooting in that area, so I hope that’s the case.” Thompson added.

Regarding the upcoming duel, Thompson said: “It feels good to come back with some reinforcements. TThere will probably be a lot of emotions here at first, but once the competition really gets going I will be focused on doing everything I can to win.”
