Weather threats, particularly flooding, are occurring all over the world. Severe weather caused flooding in parts of Italy, while La Niña could cause further complications for California’s winter weather in the future.




There is also currently heavy rain in Vancouver. The result was flooding throughout the entire area. Streets are flooded and houses no longer look recognizable under water.

An atmospheric river brought over 150mm of rain over Vancouver

A second rainfall was expected on Sunday, bringing between 20 and 40 mm of rain to the Lower Mainland and 40 to 60 mm to the North Shore Mountains.

Several road closures have been announced, while police are advising locals to stay away from flooded areas to give rescue workers freedom of movement.
